( fr ) The iPod is a brand of portable media players designed and marketed by Apple Computer. Devices in the iPod family are designed around a central scroll wheel (except for the iPod shuffle, which uses click buttons) and the full-sized model stores media on an internal hard drive, while the smaller iPod nano and iPod shuffle use flash memory. Like many digital audio players, iPods can also serve as external data storage devices. Apple chose to focus its development on the iPod's simple user interface and its ease of use, rather than on technical capability.

iPhone connects with cravings
You can dial a number or name in your address book by talking, but lots of phones do that. The difference is you can also use voice to control music playback. You can ask out loud to play a song or album — and even ask it to play more music similar to the song you're listening to. The iPhone taps into the Genius feature in iTunes to come up with a playlist. [Read more]

Traversing the tales of Melville, Dumas and Twain with illustrations was fun and, hey, I was learning. Connecting reading with being entertained was a revelation and propelled me into the challenge and deeper magic of real books. [Read more]

It's a great time to set up the bones of a garden, [Read more]
