Like Che: Part One (Jimsey) : I thought it was very well done. Del Toro made it easy to forget it was actually him just playing the part rather than actually watching the real Che on screen. Quite stylish, quite good indeed.
Interest The Patriot (Jimsey) : Actually a lot better than what you'd think (or what I thought) based on the trailer.
Hall of fame The Historian (OhTheMirth) : I loved this book. It was very well written, such a wonderful way of weaving the historical with the fictional, but it's quite slow going at parts. I got bored at some points but I forced my way through, wanted to see how it ended. I'm glad I did btw. I wanted to travel Eastern Europe after I finished reading. If you love imagery, history, vampire stories and not afraid of a thick book, try it on for size. It's fantastic, enthralling and satisfying. :)
Hall of fame World Trade Center (aileenpio) : This movie made me cry more than any movie ever has. I'm so glad that Oliver Stone made the story of these particular people into a movie.
Hall of fame The JFK Video: The Dallas Tapes (Tango) : myFOXdfw.com's JFK Video: The Dallas Tapes is an archive of exclusive video related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. It has never before seen video, and seldom seen video from the archives of Channel 4.It is best collection I have seen .Go to their website. It is amazing , just like you were in front of the television in 1963.
Hall of fame Ulysses (Tango) : Odysseus(Ulysses) is hero of Homer's epic poem, the Odyssey. He is my favorite character of Homer's works. He overcame all the odds and restore his position of King after being assumed dead.
Like The Battle of Algiers (Jimsey) : Excellent movie and still all too topical.
Hall of fame Michael Collins (karina2k8) : Legend!!!
Interest We Were Soldiers Once... and Young (iain2345) : Seems to support the ideas of Gen. Harry S. Sumners 'On Strategy.'
