Watchmen (flyintiger) : Finally, I saw the movie. I found it was a good show, better than expected, although screenwriter and director focus too much on the characters, plot and special effects and forget about what the graphic novel is all about. Well, of course, it's better to read it first but clearly the comic book is far superior to the movie, notwithstanding the great special effects.

Dislike  Vanity Fair (Tribble) : The BBC have produced two excellent series based on this entertaining book.Sadly, there is a much a very much poorer version here.I like Reese Witherspoon, but I do not think she was right for this role.

www.boyinthestripedpajamas.com (Tribble) : A well made film but very, very sad in parts.

Hall of fame  The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (saico) : it's the first time i like the movie better than the book

A Clockwork Orange (iain2345) : For me, this novel was oddly homey. On one hand, being of Irish descent, the characters' cockney ways were quite familiar to me. On the other, the fact that my adoptive parents (both of whom were the offspring of immigrants) spoke at times in Ukrainian, Polish or Slovak words similar to those in the teen slang of the novel made his talk very accessible. As to its worth as literature, though, I'm somewhat undecided. Though it does give us more characterization than most S.F. works, Its ways of presenting its Christian points seems merely symbolic and therefore shallow.

Not rated yet  Alice in Wonderland (leafar) : Tim burton will revisite these amazing piece of fantasy that is alice in wonderland... don't know what to expect but i will definitely will go and see this when it will go out. I wish the white rabbit will be good because it's by far my fabourite character with the smoking worm.

Hall of shame  Confessions of a Shopaholic (OhTheMirth) : Horrible.
