Tessa01 Hall of fame  Visually stunning and the plot of the film is awesome i love this movie

circusfruit Hall of fame  Oh that whisper at the end!
I think many of us out there have shared some sort of love like this with another.

aileenpio Hall of fame  Absolutely brilliant. It took me three viewings to start to get it, but I love its subtlety, its ironic, intelligent humor, its affection for the beautiful quirks of Tokyo, and, of course, the kiss.

Jimsey Hall of fame  Can't win 'em all. Some people just can't get into these character-driven films. Personally, I think this is one of the best movies made in the last couple of years.

carbonilla Hall of fame  whoever said this movie is boring has no blood in their veins. how can it be boring when it's so full of emotions?????

lovingwrongcowboy Hall of fame  i don't find it boring at all, i fall in love with this movie everytime i see it.

jadesballade Dislike  i don't like scarlett johansson
and this movie is just boring

tig3rlily   I would like to know what exactly do ppl find boring on this movie...

Mr. Hudson Is Feeling The Heat Of A Thousand Stars
videodrone Mr. Hudson Is Feeling The Heat Of A Thousand StarsThe video for Mr. Hudson's Kanye West-assisted “Supernova” takes West's British protégé out of a dropping-with-fanciness hotel and into the heavens, with a brief homage to Lost In Translation along the way. It's not the deepest video in the vault, for sure, but it's pretty enough to look at, and the song's synth-tastic puffery makes for a nice bookend with Kanye's similarly over-the-top “Paranoid.” [Vimeo] [Read more]

Sneak peek at French game plan
Sure, it was in French, but there under various headings were the tactical aspects of tomorrow night's international season-opening test at the Brook. There were key areas of concentration for the visitors, things to achieve in each part of the field and, of course, the always contentious lineout calls (one was labelled, of course, Dunedin; another something about Brisbane). Local group breathes new life into timeless morals
I?m not a big Bible reader — never have been. But something happened yesterday that got me thinking maybe I should be.I found out about the work being done by Albuquerque Interfaith, an interdenominational group that works with various member organizations to develop leaders for public life. The 27 groups in Albuquerque Interfaith include Catholic, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Quaker and Bahai congregations as well as unions, schools and nonprofit organizations. The 15 year-old organization?s un [Read more]

Admittedly, something got a little lost in translation with Madame Déplanque's lamb order. As the waitress disappeared, Madame feared an organic lamb, Moroccan style, was heading her way. A helpful and patient waitress returned to change the request to a lamb ragout with organic penne pasta. Declarations of C'est trés trés bon soon after were rather pleasing to the ear. [Read more]

Zero Coke Zero in Venezuela
This threat is particularly dire because the 18,000-plus families arriving every day, a migration that the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) has called one the worst since the genocide in Rwanda, have been displaced from regions, the Swat, Lower Dir, and Buner districts of the Northwest Frontier Province, where malaria is not endemic. Refugees are ill-prepared to deal with the disease both because the refugee population has no pre-existing immunity to malaria and because the flow of internal [Read more]

Ok, first off, I have a beard and I love it. So if you can't embrace the beard, then this won't work. If you can, then read on... I will try and keep this as short and as honest as possible. By day I'm a Graphic Designer for a publishing company, although my design heart is firmly rooted in the work I do with bands and promoters, such as album art, merch designs, and gig posters. I love screen printing, and I am currently setting up a space in my living room where I will be able to screen print [Read more]

An albatross swan song ? Verse 3: A ghost story
An albatross swan song – Verse 3: A ghost story An albatross swan song – Verse 3: A ghost storyPumpkin makes a deal with BOG at the Nanjing CrossroadsLet's go back to the where the ghost tale began (for me); in that hotel room in old Shanghai.Pumpkin wanted to tell me a story, a special story about a Ghost known only to a few. Spam musubi's appeal often
You'll also need about 6 cups cooked rice, a package of nori (dried seaweed sheets; they come in packages of 10) and a can of Spam. Cut the nori sheets in half; slice and fry Spam. Center a nori sheet under the mold. Fill mold with rice, top with Spam, compress with the presser that comes with the mold. Slide off the mold and wrap nori around it all. A little water will seal the deal. You're done when you run out of one of your three key ingredients. [Read more]

Atkins diets, sans meat, shows promise
The contrived nature of the diet, and the fact that it was fed to participants, makes for good reductionist science that allows it to get published, but it is several leaps of faith or steps from practical, long-term advice for the average American, he said. I don't believe the average person would be able to practice a daily diet that derived [about] 75 percent of its protein from gluten and soy. [Read more]

Language pupils not
GETTING lost in translation wasn't a worry for Junior Cert students sitting the French exams yesterday. Ordinary and higher level papers hit the right note with teachers and pupils. Maire Ni Chiarba, of the ASTI, from Colaiste an Phiarsiagh, Glanmire, Cork, was pleased that students could choose topics to include in the letter question on the ordinary paper. Students had four topics to write about out of nine. This meant that they could stick to one tense, instead of mixing, past, present and f [Read more]

Next-generation market transformation
We are currently on the precipice of another market transformation opportunity. Why is the new generation different from past forms? First, it is uniquely driven by dire and specific necessity. We must mitigate a rapidly changing climate and reduce a risky dependence on fossil fuels. We must assign a true and accurate cost to carbon and strategize and deploy new innovations, which will prompt research, investment and the commercialization of new technologies. As such changes are pursued and solu [Read more]
