Tessa01 Hall of fame  I watch this movie at least once a week...Love is an understatement.

Jimsey Hall of fame  I can't really add much here. Excellent piece of movie-making and one of the best movies of recent years. And I managed to write this comment without once using the word 'love'. ..Oops! ;-o

leafar   I'm completly washed. One of the best movie I have seen for a long time? Gondry is so good. This movie has all the good qualities for me, it is shooted like contemporary photography (the good one!), the sound is perfect using what contemporary music and Ircam has learned us. I love the hair, i wish i could get mine blue again. The way a love story is seen is excellent ... loose pieces of emotions, small fragments of life ... and it touches something really deep in terms of affinity.

sinisterfoxy Hall of fame  this film is amazing.
it's is in my hall of fame, because it is my favourite movie of all time.
i love the way it is shot, and how strong the characters are portrayed by the actors.
LOVE.

sylly Hall of fame  Love is worth a try.. Brillant!

Cellophane Hall of fame  To me this movie is perfect. I love the way the story is told and how it's mixed with the music. It plays with the chaos of feelings, images and sound, representing beautifully the love between Joel and Clem.

nura Hall of fame  this is one of these movies that you can watch over and over again! i love it and you should too! :)

Lakers-Magic practice report: The
Change being exactly what the Magic are hoping for, of course.  But the onus for straightened heads after a 25-point loss falls squarely on their shoulders.  According to veteran center Adonal Foyle, however, it's actually easier to move forward after a beatdown than falling short by a point, and on several useful levels.  I think sometimes it's better to get whupped and get it out of the way, because there's no ambiguity about the fact that you got whupped.  If we had lost by one point, I th [Read more]

At the Movies
What has happened, it seems, is that Cotard, deprived of his wife and health and confidence, had been given a prestigious MacArthur Fellowship, the so-called genius award, which in his case appears to mean infinite amounts of money to do what you like with over an infinite amount of time. It may be that everything that follows from his getting the grant is a dream – it may be that his getting the award is a dream – but it scarcely matters, since this is a dream he never leaves, and we never see [Read more]

?A safe technique for the focused erasure of troubling memories?
Read moreYou should be able to erase memory if that’s the molecule that really stores memory. And you should be able to erase it with an inhibitor of that molecule,” explains lead researcher Dr. Andre Fenton from SUNY Downstate medical center.Lead researcher Dr. Fenton says the inhibitor is called ZIP. Once injected into a rat’s brain, it forgot what part of its small chamber gives off electrical shocks. Before the injection, the rat learned very well which area to avoid.Dr. F [Read more]

Why Guys Hate Date Movies
Why Guys Hate Date MoviesPosted by: YourTango.com | Filed in: Guys12:00PM, Saturday May 23rd 2009 Comments (12) E-Mail | Share:  Allow me to make three outrageous assumptions, so I don't have to keep saying “Of course, not all women…” and “That being said, some men…” and so forth. Here goes: 1) Women love romantic movies. 2) Men love action movies. 3) Men love women, and women, for some reason, love men.I'm totally overgeneralizing and I know it. Somewhere, a [Read more]

Common sees spirituality in 'Terminator' role
A: McG and I decided that it was something good for that character to have because you don't want to just see another stock heavy dude because we've seen that character a million times. You don't get to see how Barnes developed his spirituality, but it is part of the character and it gave me more inspiration. I could say, Hey, this dude ain't just going around killing people. We actually had a scene that exuded his spirituality, but I think it got flipped from the movie. [Read more]

DVD Review: Chrysalis
With issues of identity, along with the persistence of memory in relation to personality construct through dominant life-altering signifiers, floating around in the background, “Chrysalis” should prove to be at least mildly thought provoking -- but isn’t. While the technical package is brilliant, with a crisp blue-grey aesthetic, brutal battle sequences and an appropriately minimalistic usage of visual effects, there is little beneath the surface beyond simple notions without a [Read more]
